Roxy x Cynthia Rowley Snow Jacket: puffy perfection or a designer disappointment?
By Tamara Hinson (image credit: Roxy)
Style over substance?
Input from top fashion designer Cynthia Rowley ensures this jacket looks the part, but it lacks some of the tech from rival jackets. (image credit: Roxy)
Fit for purpose
The fit is described as relaxed, which is very apt. The extra space allows for improved movement on the slopes. (image credit: Roxy)
Water tight
Roxy’s DryFlight outer does a great job of maxing out the jacket’s water resistance. (image credit: Roxy)
No place for chafe
HydroSmart technology has been integrated into the collar (or garage) and helps protect, calm and care for the skin around the mouth. (image credit: Roxy)
Safe place for kit
The jacket includes internal media and goggle chest pockets, with the latter offering a built-in cloth to clean your eyewear. (image credit: Roxy)
Down on the slopes
Filled with duck down and lined with a polyester made from recycled plastic bottles, it's puffy, warm and padded. (image credit: Roxy)
Verdict
It's expensive but it's a jacket that's going to draw plenty of attention on the slopes. That said, it's lacking in innovations at this price point for us. (image credit: Roxy)
