(The Gear Loop) - Saucony has taken the wraps off its latest high-performance, carbon-plated running shoe in the form of the Endorphin Pro 3, which will sit at the very top of Saucony’s award-winning Endorphin range.
The shoe features a re-engineered ultra-light upper and additional PWRRUN PB foam underfoot, taking inspiration from lessons learned in the development of the Endorphin Pro+ but a 39.9mm stack of PWRRUN PB foam now meets World Athletics guidelines, while giving runners as much of an edge as possible.
Sitting at the slightly more affordable end of the running shoe market, the Endorphin Speed 3 packs a fully redesigned upper that delivers a comfortable fit from heel to toe. You can tell it apart from its Pro counterpart thanks to the blue stripe along the midsole. The latest version has received a reimagined S-curve plate, which centres and supports along with updated geometry to provide a smoother ride and more pop.
In order to celebrate this fact, Saucony will also open the doors to the House of Speed, which will act as a hub for physical community runs around Paris, where it resides, as well as a location for potential customers to test the Endorphin Pro 3 virtually on Zwift through dedicated treadmills.
The House of Speed will only be open from June 22-25 at 236 Rue Saint-Martin, 75003 Paris, France.
To coincide with the opening of the concept store, the Endorphin Pro 3 will be available on Saucony's website and select running specialty retailers globally. The Endorphin Speed will be available from July 5 through the same channels.
The Endorphin Pro 3 will be available in men’s sizes 7-15, and women’s sizes 5-12 (RRP: €250/ £210) but only comes in the eye-popping bubblegum pink, gold and white colour way seen in the images for the time being. The Endorphin Speed 3 will be available in men’s sizes 7-15, women’s sizes 5-12 (RRP €190/ £165) and is offered in a variety of colours, including blue andyellow, black and gold, white and red and more.
