(The Gear Loop) - Swedish mountain equipment expert Klättermusen has announced its latest Autumn/Winter collection, which has been designed with "with endurance and pace in mind".
With a focus on high-performance equipment, the latest range looks set to cover even the most arduous cold weather journeys, from the longest, fastest autumn treks to the heaviest backcountry missions and harshest winter expeditions.
According to the manufacturer, this season’s equipment will take you from A to B and back, all while keeping you safe, dry, and warm.
There are a handful of notable pieces, including the fantastic looking Jökull Backpack, complete with the marque’s iconic webbing at the front that can be configures for skis or a snowboard.
The main compartment can be accessed through an opening on the back, for easier access to kit in poor weather conditions, while there’s an avalanche tool pocket at the front and waist belt pockets for hanging climbing accessories.
It offers 24 litres of stowage space, including an inner protective sleeve for the most important items.
In addition to this, there are a number of new clothing items that neatly straddle the autumn and winter months. First up is the Sigyn Hooded Zip that will add warmth and weather protection to any layering system.
An abrasion-free shoulder construction, slanted two-way centre front zip, protective chin guard and zipped safety pockets are all now becoming Klättermusen hallmarks.
Finally, a new Bestla Anorak Jacket joins the line-up, with a 3D adjustable hood for excellent storm protection, two zipped hand warming pockets and a women-specific fit available.
